Argumentation

al-Wāsiti says:

One should not argue with anyone or be argued with anyone. Because of ones firm knowledge of God ﷻ. [Ihya Ulūm adDīn of Imam al Ghazālli (ر)].

This is completely avoiding argumentation. Not only not arguing with other people, but not putting yourself in a position to be argued with because of ones knowledge of God. This is when you realise that Allah sees you, in that, “innā lillahi wa innā ilayhi rāji’ūn” – you know that you have come from Him, and that you will return also to Him ﷻ. And such that you don’t have time for argumentation or wasting time.
